We test all products on ourselves until we are happy with them. Of course, like all producers in the EU, we do not test on animals. Since March 11, 2013, animal testing on cosmetics and their raw materials has been completely banned in the European Union due to the provisions of the Cosmetics Regulation. These are legally binding bans, ie all cosmetics manufacturers in the EU must comply with these regulations.
Since our cosmetics are not medically tested, we cannot make any statements about the effects they could have on certain skin diseases. All our cosmetics are checked for safety in accordance with the European Cosmetics Regulation.
We do not use parabens, phthalates or mineral oils in any of our products and we do not use ARTIFICIAL preservatives.
We use what nature offers us! Many of our ingredients naturally have preservative properties, such as vitamin E or propolis tincture. Also, all of our body scrubs are oil based and not water based. Therefore, bacteria cannot grow easily. Water-based products are preserved with natural preservatives. Details on the preservatives used can be found in each product description.
Yes, our cosmetics are completely handmade in Graben-Neudorf in Baden-Württemberg in our own production facility. We hand weigh raw materials, hand blend, hand fill and label the packs and hand pack. In contrast to most producers who advertise with "Cosmetics from Germany", we do not use contract manufacturers and everything really comes from our own manufacture.

Our body scrubs are packed in PET packaging. The main reason for this is that glass in the shower is just too unsafe. If a pan falls and breaks in the shower, the risk of injury is too high. There are other reasons that speak for it, which we have summarized in a detailed blog post. TO THE BLOG
Unfortunately, we don't have a real shop (yet). However, you are welcome to shop on site in our production facility in Graben-Neudorf by appointment. It is best to make an appointment via WhatsApp (0151-54894401) or by email ( hello@pure-bee.de ).
Yes, we are happy to offer everyone a pick-up at our production facility in Graben-Neudorf. You can place your order in the online shop as normal and choose free pickup instead of parcel shipping as the shipping method. Shortly afterwards you will be contacted by us (don't forget to check your e-mails!) and we will arrange a pick-up date.
We offer small minis of many products for interested customers who just want to test them. We sell these at cost price and earn nothing from them. If you now want to order a small Mini, the shipping costs may be higher than the cost of the actual product.
We can understand that this may be annoying for many at first. However, we do not make any money from the shipping costs either. We are a small manufacturer and therefore do not have the shipping volumes of the giants in business. On the contrary: with the €4.90 flat-rate shipping fee, we add a little more ourselves to cover the shipping and even make a negative deal if someone "only" orders a mini product.
We do offer postage for small products, but unfortunately the mini jars are too high and heavy to pack them in an envelope (like the lip care) and send them for €2.99. Unfortunately, we currently have no other solution than to send the jars in one package.
However, if you sign up for the newsletter, you will receive a 10% discount code that you can use on the oleogel. Or you ask a few friends if they would also be interested in testing something and then you can split the shipping costs or even get over 39€ (from then on we ship free of charge).
