OILY SKIN

HOW DO I RECOGNIZE OILY SKIN?

Oily or greasy skin tends to produce more sebum and sweat, which makes it shiny and has large pores. It therefore requires more attention than normal skin and proper care is essential . Unfortunately, due to the increased accumulation of sebum, blackheads and pimples often form, which can even develop into acne. But there is also something positive to say about your skin: Oily skin is more resilient and less sensitive than the other skin types.

Tip 1: Cleanse your skin mildly.

Use our cleansing oil every morning and evening. Bacteria feel particularly comfortable in the excess sebum on your skin and can cause blackheads, pimples or even acne. That's why we use our cleansing oil to solve the same thing in the same way and remove the excess sebum.

Tip 2: Clean your pores regularly.

Use our vitamin C face mask 1-2 times a week. Clay purifies pores and absorbs excess oil, while activated charcoal, which can absorb up to 100 times its own weight, pulls dirt and impurities out of pores like a tiny magnet.

Tip 3: Oils for healthy sebum production.

Although you probably want to avoid everything oily and greasy if you have oily skin, there are two exceptions: jojoba and squalane oil . Jojoba and squalane oil allow sebum to drain better and prevent clogged pores. Because both are so similar to sebum, they even regulate its production.

Tip 4: Avoid aggressive products.

Although your skin is generally less sensitive , you should not stress it with aggressive cleaning or care. If you strip your skin of all oils (because there are too many of them ), it will overproduce. This also applies to your body. We therefore recommend our Body Scrub for your body after every shower.
